The Windstorm Dragon is a classic mythical reptilian, the embodiment of ancient might and power, presented in wood and animated by the wizardry of Ugears engineers.
Your new magnificent pet has an open-style design that allows you to see its mechanical heart (rubber-band motor) beating. The model has a winding key in the frontal part of its chest.
The bones of the wings are made of wood, but the rest are beautifully designed with feathery paper cutouts. Softer and flexible material helps to complete the look of this majestic flying creature, yet it leaves some room for creative ideas.
The model can be set on special support or hung on twine. It will look equally impressive with its laser engraved scales and spiky tail.

A Mechanical Addiator and a Mechanical Multiplier.

- The Mechanical Addiator is a compact arithmetic machine (or adding machine) that works by moving gear racks using a stylus included in the kit.
- The Mechanical Multiplier is a flat hinge mechanism that accomplishes binary operations on numbers. Move the dual slider to multiply and square numbers from 1 to 12.

STEM LAB Tachometer

A tachometer is a device designed to measure the rotational speed of various parts in engines and other mechanisms.
It calculates revolutions per minute (RPM). The tachometer also measures and monitors load limits, in order to decrease or increase RPM so that the engine or mechanism runs within its optimal parameters. The wooden tachometer kit comes ready to assemble.
When the handle is rotated, movement is transmitted through a reducer, increasing the RPM and displacing twin weights in the centrifugal unit.
